Want to experience the world through the eyes of a Rotary ambassador? Eager to be inspired by leaders in the international arena? Join us for the opportunity of a lifetime.
As a member of a diverse group of five adventurers, you will travel to Taiwan as guests of Rotary Clubs on the other side of the world with fellow professionals. You will immerse yourself in Taiwanese culture and gain deeper understandings of people from another country while forging life-long friendships.
We will depart on May 15th, 2023 from Los Angeles and fly directly to the capital of Taiwan in Taipei. Enjoy the convenience of the high-speed transit system in this thriving city while visiting Taipei 101, the National Palace Museum, a Rotary museum, and hiking in the verdant mountains surrounding the city. On the 17th, we will savor local cuisines at the famous night market in Taipei. On May 18th, we will be honored guests at the fellowship gathering of the Rotary Club of Taipei, the oldest Rotary Club in Taiwan chartered in 1948.
On May 19th, we will take the bullet train to central Taiwan Taichung, the lush agricultural part of the island and enjoy the hospitality of local Rotarians. The American ambassadors will be hosted by local Rotarians who share their respective professional interests. On May 22nd, we will travel further south to the port city of Kaohsiung and enjoy a warmer climate. On May 24th, we will take the high-speed rail back to Taipei and return to Los Angeles on a direct flight.
