President Les Young will coordinate with our peace ambassador, Ihor Kukhlevskyy, to transfer the prize money to the winners.

Childhood should be filled with happiness, curiosity, and love. Children growing up in conflict face tremendous challenges. Let us provide an opportunity to share their perspectives and allow them to heal through art.
Club Peace Ambassadors will ask Ukrainian children around the world who are experiencing trauma resulting from the Russian invasion in 2022 to submit original art. The theme of the artwork will be “What Peace Means to Me.”
Any medium is allowed, but the entry submission will be done digitally via an image in the JPEG format.
Contest deadline: February 19, 2023.
Winners will be selected by the board of directors of the sponsoring Rotary club and the winners will be announced on February 24, 2023 (one year anniversary of the Russian invasion).
All entries will be featured on the contest website.
Three contestant categories:
6 to 12 years olds
teens 13 to 18
In each age category:
First Place: $100
Second Place: $50
Third Place: $25
