Starting at the Claremont Launch Ramp at 5350 E. Ocean Blvd, the race course follows along the scenic Long Beach shoreline. Paid parking is available at the 54th & Claremont lot and the adjacent La Verne lot.

  • Human running 5k alone starts at 8:30 am

  • Human running with dog for 5k starts at 8:30 am

  • Human running with dog for 1k starts at 8:45 am

Adoption event by the Long Beach Animal Care Services and K9 Kismet at the finish line and post-race festival

Limit to 300 participants; sign up before registration is full!

All breeds of dogs welcome (not just mutts)

Run or walk at your pace with or without your dog

Dogs must be leashed and stay on the pedestrian path at all times

Dogs must be well-behaved and non-aggressive with people and other dogs

If you are not familiar with canicross, Run That Mutt is an excellent place to start your journey
